4.
4.1) Reason for obtaining a firearm license:
I simply feel unsafe walking the streets without something to protect myself with. I'm in no way for violence, but I do believe in the right to protect myself. If it comes to the extreme extent that I'll have to use my weapon, then I won't hesitate to do so.
Don't get me wrong. I will do anything in my power not to even have to brandish it. In a city with hundreds of homicides a year, thousands of shootings and god knows how many robberies, I can't say I feel safe. I think the law enforcement are doing a good job with the resources they have, but of course they can't always be there, nor can they be there fast enough all the time. They're only human. Just like my wife I work in a pub - an environment where brawls aren't an uncommon sight at all.
It gets violent from time to time and I've seen guns, yes I have. We've been lucky enough to avoid any shootings, but we've already had it pointed at us. The hopelessness and fear I felt at that moment is undescribable. Guns don't kill people - people kill people. That's how it is. I already know how to handle a gun, since I had a license back in Europe. It's very hard to obtain a license there, and you have to pass a serie of rather intensive tests. Don't worry, I know how to handle a weapon responsibly. I wish for you to give me the right as an american citizen to carry a weapon, to protect, and only to protect myself.

4.2) Where will your firearm(s) be stored: In a specialised holster on my person that I plan to buy along with my licensed firearm.
