I feel like I need a firearm, as during my job as a bartender, I also get confronted with drunk, agressive people, who sometimes even pull a gun and aim it at me.
I now don't have anything to protect myself which, in a situation like that.
Also, if I get robbed like I got a few times, I don't have anything to protect me with.
I will first give up all my money and other valueable possessions, before even thinking of pulling the gun.
When it is 100% sure I am not going to make it out alive, I will try to scare him with a gun, get him on his knees, call 911 and get the LSPD to arrest him.
I would feel much safer in a dangerous city as LS, with a gun.
I wont misuse it and I wont turn into a criminal myself,as I've experienced how bad things can feel.
I feel like I need a certain protection, because I sometimes don't even feel safe enough to leave my house.
When I got robbed, the LSPD didn't pass by to save me, so I was all alone.
When I called 911 after the robbery, the LSPD showed up after 20 minutes, which is long enough for the victim to get away.
It would feel like I help the community too, to get robbers arrested.
People are hungry for money, that's why they try to steal it from others. But sometimes money isn't enough, and they wont stop aiming the gun at you, even though they have your money already. That's the point where you have to act quickly, to save your life.
