As a LSP guard, even walking down the street is a risk. I might come across someone who used to be in LSP.
I've been shot more than once near my house, my work place.
I've been robbed, even kidnapped once. In all of those cases I wasn't able to defend myself because the only weapon I had is my fists.
I'm sick of being defenceless when I face those situations. I'm sick of giving my hard-earned money to crooks, I work too hard to give it to them, especially when I need that money to my own needs.
So, my main reason of wanting a firearm license is defending myself from armed robbers and thieves.
